SITE’s Women in Leadership members work in conjunction with The SITE Young Leaders’ Program, a global community of industry professionals aged 35 years or younger, to offer mentorship opportunities at IMEX America and SITE Global Conference each year.

The 20 Minutes Of Women IN Leadership is produced by GlobauxSource, in partnership with SITE and the SITE Women In Leadership initiative.

This webinar hosted by Prevue Meetings + Incentives, covers topics ranging from climbing the career ladder to tackling age discrimination to fostering a supportive environment.

Prevue Meetings + Incentives’ 2024 survey of 302 industry women (228 meeting planners and 74 suppliers) was conducted in partnership with the Women In Leadership Committee.

Here are three highlights:

  1. Half of the respondents reported that just a third of C-Level/ Senior Management positions in their companies are occupied by women, and 24% said that 10% or fewer of top positions were held by women.
  2. When asked if they have ever been in a job where they believed their gender would prohibit them from advancing any further, more than half (58%) of respondents said yes. Of those who said yes, 77% were meeting planners vs. suppliers.
  3. Half of the respondents said they believed they are not paid at an equal rate as men in the same position.
