CITP
What is CITP?
The Certified Incentive Travel Professional (CITP) is a certification program tailored for mid-level management professionals in the incentive travel industry. Candidates should have current, hands-on involvement in key processes related to incentive travel sales, design, and management, along with a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience (or three years’ experience and a CIS).
The CITP is beneficial for planners of incentive travel experiences in corporations and agencies, as well as senior managers on the supplier side, including DMOs, CVBs, DMCs, hotels, cruise companies, and venues. Applications are open to both SITE members and non-members!

Members: $795 USD
Non-Members: $995 USD
Re-Take Fee: $250 USD
Optional exam prep guide: $100 USD
Who is eligible to take the CITP?
To be eligible for the CITP exam, you must have at least 5 consecutive years of employment in the incentive travel profession or 3 years of experience along with a CIS designation. Note that you are not required to hold the CIS to apply for the CITP.
CITP Application Process
Please allow up to 10 business days for the review of your application and notification of your eligibility. Once approved, you will receive a link to the exam, which you must complete within 60 days. The exam has a duration of 90 minutes and is administered in English.
