This has been an extraordinary year, one full of exploration, growth, and meaningful connection.
We celebrated a record membership year with more than 3,600 members, and our communications reached more MICE professionals than ever before.
This momentum reflects the incredible engagement of our 27 chapters and our very first SITE affiliate, SITE Italy, which officially launched at IMEX Frankfurt this year.
Throughout the year, I’ve personally had the privilege of exploring new destinations while visiting our chapters and attending industry events.
From my first visit to Edinburgh, Scotland, where I was graced with rare sunshine in May; to the Dominican Republic, a tropical paradise even in hurricane season, each experience was memorable. But as wonderful as the destinations were, the true gift was the people who made these moments possible.

Whether I’m sharing a coffee with a member on a rainy day at a chapter event or enjoying a welcome dinner with a member of our International Board of Directors after a long travel day, the magic in every moment comes from the people in the room.
SITE is a community of insightful, curious, and creative individuals. From our board members and trustees to our chapter leaders and new members, each of us brings something unique to every space we enter.
We are fortunate to be immersed in “bigger-than-life” experiences, and this is all the more reason to be grateful.
SITE has the privilege of building and bridging cultures on a global scale. Our global community thrives because of selfless volunteers who serve in key roles and help shape SITE’s evolution as the most impactful global voice advocating for incentive travel within the MICE industry.
To every member who serves on our International Board of Directors, Foundation Board of Trustees, committees, communities, and every chapter leader — THANK YOU.
To our chapter leaders, who continuously organize thoughtful and impressive events that exemplify the power of intentional connection and an inclusive community: SITE would not be where we are, or who we are, without you.
In honor of our volunteers, SITE will launch our first Volunteer Appreciation Week beginning December 1. Throughout this week, we will recognize chapter leaders, committee and community volunteers for their commitment to serving as SITE ambassadors with excellence.
And this is just the beginning — Volunteer Appreciation Week will kick off a year-long initiative to elevate how we recognize and celebrate our volunteers.
If you are a past SITE volunteer and want to share your story, we invite you to record it using this link. Your experience may inspire someone to step into a committee, community, or chapter leadership role. Please submit your video by November 30. You may even find your story in an upcoming social media post!
